This Month’s Stitch
While everyone's rushing to make grand 2025 plans, we're embracing the calmness to January’s event calendar. Like the careful precision of each embroidered stitch, we believe the best events come from thoughtful planning and intentional details. Speaking of which, our calendar is already filling with some incredibly creative spring concepts, spring weddings, music festivals and the SXSW craziness.

Behind The Thread
December brought us some magical moments:
Quick Tip
For large venues that feature a maze from the loading zone to the actual event room, think about those vendors with lots of equipment or accessories. Send detailed instructions and a map that can be passed along to all of the employees. Bonus points if the load in brief includes photos of the doors and hallways that vendors can easily follow through the maze.

Meet The Farmer and I
Meet the floral genius behind some beautiful farmer’s market style bouquets. Carrington will bring a floral pop-up display to your event for some good wholesome fun and let your guests walk away with stunning bouquets. We recently collaborated with Carrington during the private launch of Sezane’s Austin location. While guests waited for there personalized Sweaters, they made bouquets with specialty cut flowers from Winkelmann Flowers in East Texas.
Brand Crush:
Recess Pickleball
We're obsessed with how Recess is redefining how sports equipment can be chic and made for recreational fun players. Their pop-up events blend play, style, and community in a way that feels both luxurious and accessible – exactly what we strive for in our activations. Our team scooped up a paddle during their very first launch and never looked back. Plus, their paddle cases are practically begging to be customized with Rumi Lane’s new icons (hint hint, future collab?).

If you're serious about growing the juiciest, most flavorful tomatoes in your garden, you need to pay attention to what's happening beneath the surface. Today, I want to share some tips from my tomato growing journey.
Why Tomatoes Love Sweet Peet
Tomatoes are heavy feeders with specific soil needs. Unlike traditional wood mulches, Sweet Peet Mulch works double duty – it's not just a protective layer, but a dynamic soil enhancer that transforms your garden bed into tomato paradise.
The pH Sweet Spot
Let's take a second to talk numbers. One of the trickiest aspects of growing tomatoes is maintaining the right soil pH. Tomatoes prefer slightly acidic soil, typically between 6.0 and 6.8. Here's where Sweet Peet shines: it acts as a natural pH buffer, helping to maintain that perfect sweet spot regardless of your starting soil conditions. No more struggling with lime or sulfur applications!
Water Management Magic
We all know the secret golden rule of tomato growing: (it's okay if you don't...we're here to make sure you do)
Consistent moisture is key to preventing blossom end rot and fruit splitting. It forming a protective barrier that reduces water evaporation and creates channels for water to penetrate deeply to the roots
Quick Tips
Here's a pro tip: at the end of your tomato season, don't remove the Sweet Peet. Instead, gently till it into your soil. It will continue to break down over winter, improving soil structure and setting you up for an even better growing season next year.
The Living Soil Connection
You know those beneficial earthworms we love? They go crazy for Sweet Peet, tunneling through your soil and creating natural aeration channels.
Remember, great tomatoes start from the ground up. Give Sweet Peet a try this season, and I bet you'll never look back!
Happy growing!
